REFORMER PILATES

The Reformer apparatus uses springs, ropes and straps connected to a moving carriage. The spring tension provides variable resistance to work against or support to facilitate movements that otherwise wouldn’t be possible – giving the opportunity to strengthen, lengthen and tone the body and mobilising joints through their full range of movement.

The exercise sequences are performed with a focus on Alignment, Breathing and Control. The low impact nature of a class can facilitate rehabilitation, as well as providing overall conditioning, or compliment your current gym training.

Fees:

£60 - 4 class pass (valid two months from date of purchase)

Levels:

  • This class is suitable for total beginners so don’t be shy.

    Come and learn the ropes, get familiar with the reformer and yourself.

    You will notice yourself getting stronger and more flexible, being more confident in your body’s ability to move.

  • Work through the Pilates Reformer repertoire with modifications and options, designed to challenge you at whatever level you are at.

    This is a whole-body workout class that will work on improving postural alignment, strength, core control, mobility and flexibility.

    All bodies will benefit from this class.

  • This class is for those who want a challenge and are experienced and comfortable using the reformer.

    Your instructor will turn up the intensity and put you through your paces. These classes are fun and dynamic, designed to give you a full body workout.

    You will leave feeling energised and looking forward to the next class.
