OUR POLICIES

- CANCELLATION POLICY FOR TREATMENTS -

  • We have this cancellation policy in order to be able to run smoothly the clinic and to allow everyone who needs our therapies to be able to attend their appointment without unnecessary delays. This policy also is in place in order to protect and in respect of our professional staff.

  • Any cancellations or changes to your appointment must be made AT LEAST 24HRS before your scheduled appointment.

  • We value your time as well as that of our practitioners, a NO SHOW or a CANCELLED appointment without notice will be charged the FULL FEE.

  • Make sure you are booked in by checking you have received a confirmation email straight after you have booked in. Check your spam folder.

  • To avoid late cancellation and no show we have set ups email and text reminders (providing you gave us your contact details)

    • Email reminder 36 hrs before your appointment

    • Text reminder 24hrs before your session

  • If you need to cancel your appointment, you can do so using the link in the  confirmation and reminder email. That link expires at the 24hrs, which means you cannot cancel your appointment after that period. Alternatively you can text or call us on 07940719444..

  • In case you have to cancel your appointment for any emergency reason we will consider not charging you for your missing appointment. Please note that any specific case will be evaluated.

- PRIVATE INSURANCE PATIENT -

  • Our osteopaths are registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and our physiotherapists are HCPC registered. All of therapists are fully qualified and insured.

  • You can access osteopathy and physiotherapy appointments via cash plans or with direct billing through health insurance policies.

  • It is your responsibility to make sure you have authorisation with your private medical insurance and check before booking in that we can accept the referral.

  • In the event that the private insurance referral hasn’t yet been accepted, the patient will have to pay for the full fee.

  • If you are using your insurance to cover treatment you are responsible for monitoring how many sessions you have had and are liable for any shortfall if sessions are booked that have not been pre-authorised.

  • Some insurance policies have an excess and will not cover unattended appointments or cancellations. This means that in case you notify us of cancelling your appointment within the 24hrs you will have to pay the full fee.

- TREATMENT GIFT VOUCHER POLICY -

  • Our treatment gift voucher is valid one year from date of purchase and is not refundable.

  • This cannot be exchanged for cash or a studio voucher (pilates classes).

  • It can be used for any of treatments, including physiotherapy, sports massage and osteopathy.

- STUDIO CANCELLATION POLICY -

  • Any cancellations or changes to your booking must be made AT LEAST 12HRS before your class.

  • You have up to 12 hours before your class time to cancel for free. The credit will return back to your account for you to rebook your session.

  • One class credit will be charged for cancellations made less than 12 hrs before the class start time and for any failure to attend a booked class (no-show).

  • In the event that no class credits are available on your account, the class fee will be charged to the card on file.

  • Should the studio ever have to cancel a class, due to instructor illness for example, we will contact all clients booked in with the greatest possible notice. Your credit will go back on your account for you to rebook.

- CLASS PACK POLICY -

  • Our mat and reformer class packs are valid 60 days from date of purchase.

  • Our mat packs excludes specialists sessions such as Buff Bones, pregnancy and MAMA MVMNT classes.

  • All class credits must be used within their stated validity period. Unused classes do not roll over past that period.

  • Extensions are not guaranteed and are granted solely at management discretion in exceptional circumstances. Refunds will not be issued.

- MEMBERSHIP POLICY -

  • Payment is collected automatically every 4 weeks, starting from the date of purchase.

  • There is no joining fee required to begin the membership. 

  • Failed payments may result in a pause or cancellation of your membership.

  • A minimum commitment of three months is required. After the initial term, the contract automatically renews every three months until cancelled.

  • You may cancel your membership at any time with a minimum of one month’s notice A written notice is required to cancel, sent via email to info@coremvmnt.com

  • Memberships are not transferrable to someone else and linked to your account.

  • Memberships exclude refunds unless requested within 14 days of the contract start date.

  • Unused classes do not roll over to the next billing period. 

  • Members are responsible for booking their classes via the online scheduling system. Classes can be booked at any available time during that 4 week period, subject to availability, and are bookable 60 days in advance. 

  • Late cancellations (less than 12 hours’ notice) or no shows will result in the class being deducted from your monthly allowance. 

  • Memberships may be “paused” for a minimum of two weeks and a maximum of 2 months (for example due to a holiday) for a total of 2 times each year. Requests to pause must be submitted with at least a minimum of two weeks prior to the next billing date via email to info@coremvmnt.com

  • We reserve the right to update membership terms with advance notice. Any changes will be communicated via email, on our social pages or on our website.

- STUDIO GIFT VOUCHER POLICY -

  • Our gift voucher is valid one year from date of purchase and is not refundable.

  • This cannot be exchanged for cash or a treatment voucher.

  • It can be used for any of our drop in sessions, class packs or memberships.

- WAITING LIST POLICY -

  • The waiting list allows you to put your name down for your preferred class if it is fully booked and be the first to know if a space becomes available.

  • You will not be able to be added to a waiting list unless you have a pass compatible with the session, and with enough credit

  • The waiting list operates on a first come first served basis.

  • This is an unsorted and unranked waitlist. All members that joined this waitlist will be informed simultaneously once a spot becomes available.

- PRIVATE SESSIONS -

  • Payment is taken at the time of booking via our booking system.

  • Any changes or cancellation for private session must be made AT LEAST 48 HOURS PRIOR.

  • No refund will be issued for no shows or late cancellation.

  • Sessions are not transferrable to someone else as they are tailored to your needs.

  • Make sure you are booked in by checking you have received a confirmation email.

- ATTENDING CLASSES WHEN PREGNANT -

  • At CORE MVMNT, our goal is to support you throughout your pregnancy while always prioritising your wellbeing and the safety of your baby. Please inform your instructor as soon as you become aware that you are pregnant.

  • If you have been attending regular classes with us prior to your pregnancy and have no complications, your instructor can modify exercises to support you safely. You may continue attending regular classes until your instructor recommends transitioning to a pregnancy-specific class.

  • If you are new to CORE MVMNT or Pilates, we ask that you book into our pregnancy-specific classes only. These classes are suitable for individuals in their second trimester and beyond (from 12 weeks onwards) and are specifically designed to address the unique needs and safety considerations of pregnancy.

- LIABILITY WAIVER -

  • Classes at CORE MVMNT are not a substitute for medical care, and offer no health warranties or guarantees of any kind.

  • The information we provide is not intended as a substitute for medical advice from your GP or health professional. If you have any doubts then please contact us and your medical practitioner before signing up.

  • CORE MVMNT cannot accept liability for personal injury related to participation in classes if:
    - your doctor has advised you against exercise on medical grounds,
    - you fail to observe instructions or safety techniques,
    - is caused by the negligence of another participant,
    - you fail to disclose any new medical conditions or injuries at the start of the session.

  • Please use good judgement and common sense when taking classes, consider your level and ability and choose the appropriate level of the exercises and rest when you need to.

  • You understand that, from time to time instructors may suggest physical adjustments or the use of equipment and it is your sole responsibility to determine if any such suggested adjustment or equipment is appropriate for your level of ability and physical and mental condition.

  • As with any exercise programme, if at any point during the class you begin to feel faint, dizzy or have any physical discomfort, you should stop immediately and notify the teacher.

- PRIVACY & SECURITY POLICY -

  • Personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorised CORE MVMNT staff have access to this information.

  • CORE MVMNT will never sell trade, rent or otherwise share your personal information with any other person, company or organisation.

  • CORE MVMNT does not assume responsibility for any lost or stolen personal property. If you do become the victim of a theft, immediately report it to a CORE MVMNT staff member.

- MEDICAL DISCLAIMER -

  • Although we are qualified osteopath/sports massage therapist/yoga & Pilates instructor, the advice given on this site and during our classes is general and may not be suitable for all individuals.

  • The information shared in these classes should not be used as a substitute for seeking professional medical advice. Do not disregard, delay or avoid obtaining medical or health-related advice from your health-care professional because of something you may have read on this site. The use of any information provided on this site is solely at your own risk.

  • During the process of booking, you are asked to fill in our New Client Pilates Form with your contact details and medical information. Please complete this form to the best of your knowledge and let us know if your situation changes, including injuries, illnesses and pregnancies. This helps us keep you safe as some classes are not suitable for people with pre-existing injuries and medical conditions as well as pregnant or recently post partum. Those classes include the Mat dynamic class, the Reformer Improver class and the Reformer Strength class.

  • If you are unsure if a class is suitable for your situation, please don’t hesitate to contact us for some advice and guidance.

  • Neither the company CORE MVMNT or any other party involved in producing or maintaining any content on the site shall be liable under any circumstances for any direct, incidental or consequential injuries arising from your access to or use of the site.

  • We are always looking to improve what we do so we'd like to hear about your experience. Whether it's good or bad we want to hear from you. Honest feedback is what allows us to grow.

  • Complaints may be presented to the team member, at which time they will do their best to come to a solution that supports both sides.
